NEW Allegiant & Ascendant Movie Logos and Teaser Posters!!

BIG BIG BIG BIG HUGE NEWS INITIATES!!! The Divergent Series has officially updated their social media accounts with the New Logo for The Divergent Series: Allegiant! But that’s only one thing. Not only did they release the logo for Allegiant, they announced a new title for the second part of the Allegiant film, Ascendant!!

It’s a lot to take in, especially with the new title change. There are already a lot of mixed reactions about the logo update but Veronica Roth cleared this up on her website by quoting:

So, you may have heard about this– the last movie in the Divergent series will be called “Ascendant”.

What does this mean? Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it’s really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them. I know changes always make fans of the books– and the author!– nervous, but hopefully the characters we know (and love. Or sometimes love to hate?) will still be intact, which is really the important thing. I am eager to see how these movies turn out, along with you guys.

This could at least calm down our emotions for the moment thanks to Veronica! And two other things that were released today from MTV were these two AMAZING Teaser Posters for The Divergent Series: Allegiant & Ascendant!

So What do you guys think about the new Allegiant news?! I am SO PUMPED For Allegiant and Ascendant and can’t wait to get more news on the Allegiant movie!!

The Divergent Series: Allegiant comes out in theaters on March 18, 2016
